Frequently asked questions.
I want to give it a go but I am nervous about going on my own.
That's completely understandable and a common concern among many first-time retreat-goers. Traveling alone, especially for the first time, can feel like a big step. However, it's important to remember that our retreats are structured with community and connection in mind.
Many people attend retreats alone and end up making lifelong friendships. You'll likely find that many other participants are also there on their own, all there for similar reasons—to find balance, peace, and connect with like-minded individuals.
In terms of safety, rest assured that we prioritizes the well-being of our participants. We offer detailed travel guidance and provide a comfortable, secure environment at our retreat.
Lastly, remember that this is a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Embrace the opportunity to step outside your comfort zone—it's often where the most significant growth occurs. We're here to support you every step of the way
Are flights included?
No, flights are not included. We have people travelling from around the world so it’s up to you to book your flight and have the necessary and obligatory travel insurance. We can support you with your travel plans along the way.
How do I get from the airport to the venue?
For most of our retreats, we arrange a group pick-up from the airport which is included in the package. If this is not offered on the retreat you want to book, we help you arrange a transfer and try to group you so that your costs are lowered. Please check when making your booking.
How many people are usually on the retreats?
Usually, there will be between 10 and 13 people. The majority of participants are women but on occasion, couples will join.
I’ve not done a lot of yoga, can I still participate?
Absolutely. Our retreats are special in that we observe everyone’s individual needs. Noona, your instructor has many years of experience and a special talent to move the group as a whole while paying attention to the individual. You will be guided according to your pace and ability. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. This goes for the meditation and breathwork as well.
Can I come with a partner?
Yes, so long as your partner is happy to come along : )
I feel guilty about spending this amount of money on myself.
Feeling guilty about investing in oneself is a sentiment that many individuals can relate to, especially those who are often in a caregiving role. However, it's crucial to remember that self-care is not a luxury but a necessity.
When we take the time to replenish ourselves—physically, mentally, emotionally—we're actually in a better position to care for others.
Investing in a retreat is not just about spending money; it's about investing in your overall well-being. The experiences, insights, and skills you will gain can have a long-term positive impact on your life and can even improve your ability to care for others.
Furthermore, our retreats are designed to be comprehensive experiences. The cost includes accommodations, meals, workshops, activities, and often transport from airport to venue, which makes it a value-for-money choice considering all the elements included.
This retreat is not an extravagance, but a stepping stone towards a more balanced and fulfilled life. We're here to support you on this journey.
What if I don’t want to participate in all the activities?
This is your time. You choose how you wish to spend it. This is not a regimented retreat. It is a chance to be nurtured, nourished and cared for. We guide you in a gentle manner to address any issues you want to deal with, to change any unhealthy habits you want to change and to find peace, balance and restored energy. There will be times when you want to retreat on your own and you can. We provide you with an inspiring and safe setting to do that in and we encourage you to do as much or as little, so long as it feels right for you.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes you can. You need first to pay a €200 deposit to secure your spot and then you can split the payments monthly. All payments need to be in at least 3 weeks before the retreat commences. These options can all be discussed when you have your call with Kate
How do I book my spot?
Book a call with Kate who will go through everything with you. This call is an opportunity to meet your host and discover what to expect and what we can offer you. If you are ready to book, Kate will send you the T&Cs which must be read, signed and returned. You will then have an invoice issued through your choice of paypal, wise or bank transfer. Once your deposit of €200 has been received you will be officially welcomed onto the retreat.
